Simple Rules & Guidelines
About the Contest
Create a short video about courage, share it with the world, and (maybe) win $1,000 CAD awarded to the entry with the highest number of Instagram likes.
Who Can Participate

Open to participants worldwide

Age 18 or under (as of July 15, 2026)

Participate as:

An individual, or
-
Team (one entry per team)

Each person may participate only once

Participants under 18 must have parent or guardian consent
Key Dates

Submission Deadline: July 23, 2026 (11:59 PM PDT)

Voting Period: July 21 – August 23, 2026

Contest videos will begin to be published on the 21st, with 6 videos released each day. Each video will have its own 30-day voting period, calculated from its publication date. For example, if your video is published on July 21, voting for your entry will end on August 21

For teams: Only one form has to be submitted for each team with each members' names

Submissions cannot be changed after submission.
Video Requirements

Length: 30–180 seconds
-
Theme: Courage
-
Format: Vertical preferred (horizontal allowed)

Must be original work
-
Do not include:
-
Hate, discrimination, or harassment
-
Violent, explicit, or inappropriate content

Illegal or dangerous behavior
-
Politically sensitive or religiously offensive material

Copyrighted material without permission

All identifiable individuals appearing in the video must provide their consent. Participants are responsible for obtaining permission for any person featured in their video.

AI use is allowed, but all AI-generated or AI-assisted content must be clearly disclosed and fully comply with copyright and intellectual property laws.
Music & Audio

Must be:

Original, or
-
Royalty-free or licensed, or
-
Used with permission, or
-
From Instagram’s music library

Unauthorized audio may result in disqualification.

Posting and Voting
-
Videos will be posted on: @bravetogether25
-
Winner is determined solely by the number of Instagram likes on the official @bravetogether25 account.

Only likes during the official voting period will be counted
-
Artificial or fraudulent engagement is prohibited
Prize
-
Grand Prize: $1,000 CAD
-
Winner is the entry with the highest valid Instagram likes
-
In case of a tie, the prize will be shared
-
Team prizes will be issued to a team representative
Important Rules

No cheating or manipulation of engagement

Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted

The Organizer may disqualify any non-compliant entry
-
All decisions by the Organizer are final
Rights and Usage

Participants retain ownership of their videos.

By entering, participants grant permission for the Organizer to use and promote their videos with credit.

Participants are responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe on any third-party rights, including copyright, privacy, or publicity rights.
Privacy

Personal information will be used only for contest administration.
